Registration Questions?



Q: Is the price in US or Canadian Dollars?

A: All prices are in Canadian Dollar. We accept VISA and MasterCard and you will be charged in CAD. Your credit card issuing bank is responsible for foreign exchange conversion and may charge a fee for that. Please check with your bank for more information regarding currency exchange rates.

Q: Does the conference registration include accommodation and meals?

A: Accommodation is not included (See "Arrival" below for more). Registration includes Friday & Saturday lunch and Thursday & Friday dinner, as well as refreshments/snacks. See Program for additional details.

Q: Do I get a receipt for my registration?

A: Once you complete your registration, you will receive an email confirmation from which will include registration details and payment information. This email is also your receipt.

Q: Can I make changes after I complete registration?

A: Registrations are final. You will not able make changes. Please make sure that all your information is correct before submitting the online form. If circumstances arise which are beyond your control, please email us and we will do our best to help.

Q: If my schedule changes and I cannot attend this conference after registration, can I get a refund?

A: All conference registrations are final. We cannot provide a refund once the registration is completed.

If you are no longer able to attend, another individual can attend on your behalf. If someone is attending on your behalf,  please contact us with your original registration confirmation email and the contact details of the individual who will attend instead. We will try our best to accommodate.

If you are registered under the "Young Leaders (to 30 yrs)" category, the person attending on your behalf must meet the criteria for a young leader. *Please note: ION Toronto is not responsible for finding a replacement attendee.

Q: Where and when is conference registration and check-in?

A: Registration opens on Thursday, Oct 3rd at 10 am. You will need your registration confirmation email to check-in (either show it on your mobile phone or provide a printed copy).

Q: Where can I book accommodations for the conference?

A: ION Toronto does not provide accommodations. For more information about preferred accommodations and hotels in the area, please go to our Booking Info page.

Q: I’m arriving by plane. How can I get to the conference venue?

A: The conference venue is at North York Chinese Baptist Church 685 Sheppard Ave E, North York, ON M2K 1B6 Get the map to our location! Click here.

Q: I am driving to the event. Is there somewhere that I can park?

A: We encourage you to carpool or take public transit if possible as parking spots are limited. If you cannot carpool, the church is providing free parking for conference attendees in their underground garage.

PLEASE NOTE: Spaces label ‘Reserved’ cannot be used. These spots are exclusive to tenants. Level P3 is completely reserved with some reserved spots for tenants on P1 and P2.

FOR ATTENDEES: Parking spots are available for use in P1 or P2.

FOR SPEAKERS & ORGANIZERS: 20 spots are reserved in P2 for you.

If the free spots are all occupied, additional parking is available at nearby locations. Please note: You may be required to pay for parking.

Q: Is there access to wifi at the event?

A: Wifi will be available to everyone via the conference designated network. A password will be provided when you arrive at registration.
